There are three ways to add competitors to a match. It is recomended that you load the TRV grades before adding competitors to speed up the process of filling out your matches.
The Add Competitor button allows you to add a single competitor to your match at a time. If the competitor is a financial member with TRV, or is a TRA member that has been added to the TRV grading database, you can search for them. If the competitor is not in the grading databse, you can add them manually. Manually added competitors will not have a grade but will be added into a grade based on their score.
You can add a list of TRV Numbers using the Import Competitors button. Each TRV number must appear on a new line, however any TRV Numbers that are not in the gradinging database will be skipped.
Importing Scores works similar to Importing Competitors, however you can load all the scores at the same time. Each competitor must appear on a new row. The Format to use is TRV Number and then each score for the match. So for a 60 shot match, you need to have the TRV Number,Score 1,Score 2,Score 3,Score 4,Score 5,Score 6 or TRV Number,Score 1,Centres 1,Score 2,Centres 2,Score 3,Centres 3,Score 4,Centres 4,Score 5,Centres 5,Score 6,Centres 6. Commars can be replaced with tabs allowing you to copy the scores from an excel file.
You can click on any of the headings to sort the competitors in the Match. Clicking them a second time will reverse the sort order.
Each competitor in the match has a text box for each string of their match.
The official format for a score is [Integer].[Decimal] x[Centres], however entering scores in other formats will be interpretted if possible. Scores in a bad format will be coloured in red and will not contribute to the competitors total until fixed.
Formats that are supported include:
Holding Ctrl and pressing an arrow key will move your entry cursor between score strings, bay numbers and competitors. Pressing Tab and Shift Tab will move to the next and previous score string.
You can import a bulk set of scores using the Import Scores button.
The order that your matches appear in the competition dictate the order that they will appear on the results output. Pressing the Up and Down button will allow you to reorder your matches so that they are in the desired order.
You can set each competitors bay number manually by typing their bay number into the relevant text box. Any duplicate bay numbers for a single match will appear red.
You can randomly allocate bay numbers using the Allocate Bays button. It will randomly allocate bay numbers (format: A1, B7, C13) to each competitor that has not already been asigned a bay number already. Any bay numbers that have already been allocated will be skipped.
You can download a CSV file of the scores for a match by clicking the yellow Download Scores button. The format of this file can be used in the Import Scores button.
Clicking the Remove Match button will prompt you if you are sure you want to remove the match. Once a match is removed all scores in that match are lost. If the match is part of a Combination Match the Combination Match will be updated. If the Combination drops down to one match, it will be deleted as well.
Combination matches combine the results from two or more matches. These are typically used for Dual/All Range matches or competitions which are made up of multiple matches like the Captains 1200 or the Portland Two Day 50m Match.
Clicking on the Add Combination Match button provides a popup allowing you to configure the combination match for your competition.
Combination Match Name This is the display name of the Combinationm Match. It appears at the top of the results.
Matches Select the matches you want to use for the combination match. The scores from these matches will be combined to calculate each competitors score for the combination match.
Match Short Name This is the text used at the top of the results for that match in the combination results tables.
Use for Grades A competitors grade is calculated as the highest grade from all the matches which have this option turned on.
Editing a combination match allows you to change the details provided when adding the combination match to the competition. Additionally you can change the way the combination match is displayed in the final results.
Show Summary default: on. Toggles the inclusion of the combination match standings in the results output.

Handicap Mode default: Scratch. Allows the inclusion of Scratch, Handicap, or Both versions of the results and summary in the printout.

Competitors are added and removed from combination matches automatically as they are added and removed from the matches in the combination match.

Clicking the Remove Combination Match button will prompt you if you are sure you want to remove the combination match.
Loading the grades of TRV members is as simple as clicking the Reload Grades button at the top of the page. Once loaded the grades will be cached so that you don't need to reload them again.
When you reload the grades it uses the Competition Start date to calculate the age groups for all the competitors. So any change to this date will require a reload of the grades to ensure competitors are in the correct age group.
If you have manually added any competitors to your matches, their details will be automatically updated if their TRV Number is found in the TRV Grading System.
If it has been more than 7 days since you last reloaded the grades, the button will turn yellow suggesting that you check for updates. Competitors will be added or removed from the grades if their financial status has changed.
New competitors may have competed in a competition since you last reloaded the grades and they may now have a grade for any disciplines you are using for your matches.
Handicap Scores are calculated against the competitors average score in the grading database. Once a competitor has all six scores entered, their handicap will be calculated.
If a competitor does not have a grade for the Match's discipline the frist 2/3rds of their score will be used to calculate an average for their Handicap to be calculated against.
The Handicap Algorithm is: Handicap = ([Score] - [Average]) / (([MaxScore] * 31 / 30) - [Average]) + [MaxScore]
You can generate a printout of the start list or competition results by pressing the Start List or Print button at the top of the page.
The Results output will include any Combination Matches first before displaying the Matches. Each Combination Match and Match can show a summary (standings) and the raw results.
The Summary and Results can be toggled on and off by editing each individual Match and Combination Match.
Each Combination Match and Match can be set to use Handicap scores instead of Scratch (Raw) scores by editing the combination match or match.
You can generate a Start List for your competition. The Matches will be sorted based on Match Day and Competitors will be sorted by Bay.
